"Empowering students to become thoughtful, effective, and values-driven leaders"
My Story
I am an educator and higher education professional committed to helping students become thoughtful, confident, and values-driven leaders. As an Assistant Teaching Professor at Santa Clara University, I teach courses related to leadership, organizational behavior, management, negotiation, and entrepreneurship.
My teaching approach is shaped by the belief that students learn best when they can connect academic ideas to their own experiences and real organizational challenges. I use discussion, reflection, case studies, collaborative exercises, and applied projects to help students strengthen their critical-thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
My teaching experience includes undergraduate and graduate courses at Santa Clara University, Golden Gate University, Notre Dame de Namur University, San Francisco Bay University, and UC Berkeley Extension. Across these institutions, I have taught subjects ranging from emotional intelligence, organizational leadership, and conflict management to business law, communication, strategy, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
In addition to my faculty work, I serve as Associate Director of Student Services Events at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. My work at Berkeley has included student leadership development, advising student organizations, program planning, event management, and creating experiences that bring together students, alumni, campus leaders, and external partners.
Whether I am teaching, mentoring students, or supporting university programs, my goal is to create environments where people feel encouraged to participate, reflect, take intellectual risks, and grow.

Teaching Philosophy
I believe students learn most effectively when they are active participants in the learning process.
My courses combine academic research, discussion, reflection, case analysis, experiential activities, collaborative problem-solving, simulations, and practical application. Rather than asking students only to remember concepts, I challenge them to examine how those concepts influence individuals, teams, organizations, and communities.
